Recently, the Geoscience Cooperation and Mining Development Conference of Shanghai Cooperation Organization Countries and the 4th Belt and Road International Conference on Geophysics were held in Xi'an.
Centering on themes such as new technologies and new equipment for deep, high-precision, dynamic exploration; artificial intelligence and big-data geophysical technologies and their applications; transparent geology and mines; and coal exploration and development, CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute organized 21 presentations and exchange sessions by experts. They shared the institute's research directions and latest achievements in the field of mine geological guarantee with the participating experts.
During the conference, through various display methods such as "3D models + digital sand tables + dynamic demonstrations", CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute systematically presented its new technologies and new achievements in fields like mine geophysical exploration technologies and equipment, coordinated surface - underground extraction and utilization of coal - bed methane (gas), and mine disaster management.
With the theme of "Strengthening Technological Leadership and Promoting Mining Development", the conference attracted more than 600 representatives from geological and mining administrative departments of 16 countries, over 100 scientific research institutions, and well-known mining enterprises at home and abroad. Through this conference, mining investment and industrial cooperation among the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization were further strengthened, jointly drawing a new blueprint for the green and sustainable development of the mining industry.
