CCTEG Xi 'An Research Institute Created Geothermal Development Department

On July 28, Geothermal Energy Development Technology and Engineering Research Institute was created in CCTEG Xi 'an Research Institute

The Institute will carry out technological research and engineering application in the fields of shallow geothermal energy, middle and deep geothermal energy and mine geothermal (waste heat) development. In the meantime, it will combine solar energy and other renewable energy to form geothermal plus distributed clean energy integrated comprehensive solution, helping the country to achieve carbon peak and carbon neutrality. In recent years, CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute has actively implemented new development concept, committed to promoting development of green and low-carbon industries. The company has implemented two demonstration projects including middle-deep geothermal energy development & utilization, and near-zero emission shallow ground source heat pump for heating & cooling. Key technological breakthrough in geothermal energy development field have been achieved.
