On April 11, Weihua Wang(vice chairman of the Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference) and Runxiang Gou(former director of the Professional Committee of Population, Resources and Environment) visited CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute for investigation and guidance. Weihua Wang and his entourage visited the intelligent drilling equipment manufacturing workshop of CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute, the demonstration project of shallow geothermal energy development and utilization, the demonstration project of middle and deep geothermal heating and the comprehensive exhibition hall.
In the meeting, Yao extended a warm welcome to Wang and his delegation, and introduced the basic situation of CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute and the progress in geothermal energy technology development and industrial promotion and application in recent years. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the development status, existing problems and future prospects of geothermal energy technology under the background of "double carbon", especially the promotion and application of geothermal energy technology in Shaanxi Province. Wang Weihua fully affirmed the technical advantages and scientific and technological strength of CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute in the development and utilization of geothermal energy. He said that CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute, as the first stop of the research work, has rich research contents and the research trip is very fruitful. He hopes that CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute will continue to increase scientific research and application, and provide demonstration and guidance for the development and utilization of geothermal energy in Shaanxi Province.
