The geophysical instrument manufacturing workshop of Xi’an Research Institute of CCTEG has an area about 660 m2, and the occupancy area of inspection &test lab is about 2 000 m2. It has special work rooms for electric installation, debugging, assembly, inspection, machining, product aging, charging and discharging, special process, calibration, maintenance, etc. It mainly produces more than 20 kinds of geophysical instruments, for instance the devices for detection of water-bearing anomaly in underground mine roadway in roof and floor, side wall, and front space of excavation, the small structure, and the mine water condition monitoring and control. Moreover, it has an annual production capacity of more than 2 000 sets. The products are widely used in coal enterprises nationwide. It is the largest and most diverse unit of domestic production of mine geophysical exploration instruments.
