Project Won Technical Innovation First Prize Of National Energy Chemical Geological System

Recently, China Energy Chemical Geology Union issued notice of “National Energy Chemical Geology System Excellent Staff Technical Innovation Evaluation Results ". "Major Integration key theory and technology of water hazard management, inspection and evaluation in Huaibei Coalfield thin layer limestone ", a project of CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute won the first prize.

The project is based on the need for prevention and control of high-pressure limestone water, hidden collapse columns and large-scale water-conducting faults on the floor of Huaibei mining area. The key technologies for long-distance, accurate and rapid drilling and hole formation in the limestone surface with major flooding have been developed. The comprehensive inspection and evaluation system for the inspection and treatment effect of high-confined thin-layer limestone in the coal seam floor of the mine was formed.

In the industrial tests carried out in Zhuzhuang Coal Mine and Taoyuan Coal Mine, about 5.5 million tons of coal threatened by water damage were safely mined, the direct economic benefit was about 120 million yuan. Cost of mine water drainage was reduced by about 20.311 million yuan, bringing huge economic benefits to the enterprise.

The results of the project have broken through the technical bottleneck of advanced surface treatment about major water hazards, and formed a series of key technologies for surface pre-treatment of major mine water hazards based on accurate ground directional drilling and three-dimensional exploration technology. It has realized the advanced and precise pre-treatment of water hazards in major mines, and laid a solid theoretical and practical foundation for the treatment of major mine water hazards in mining areas.

The water management measures issued by the three provinces of Anhui, Henan and Hebei regard this technology as a necessary means of water damage control in high-pressure aquifers in the coal seam floor. At the same time, coal mining enterprises in Shandong, Shaanxi, Shanxi and other places have also successively applied this technology to control floor water damage.

The complete set of technologies formed by the project has broad application prospects in the prevention and control of mine water hazards.
