The No. 3 coal seam of Sangshuping No. 2 Well of Shaanxi Coal Hancheng Mining Co., Ltd. is a crushed and soft coal seam, which is difficult to control gas. The problem of "blank zone" exists in gas control due to shallow boreholes and uncontrollable trajectory of rotary drilling. The pneumatic directional drilling technology of our institute has been suc cessfully applied in No.3 coal seam of the mine. Kong Shen has reached more than 200m, the average penetration rate of coal seam has reached more than 99%, and all boreholes have reached the hole depth index, marking the successful large-scale application of pneumatic directional drilling technology and equipment of our institute in Hancheng Mine.
