On February 18, 2020, CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute signed a contract with Yaojie Coal and Electricity Group Co., Ltd. The main engineering content includes drilling, coring, testing, fracturing, drainage and other operations of 4 surface CBM development wells. Haishiwan Coal Mine, where the CBM project is located, is a rare coal and CO2 outburst-prone coal mine in China. There is a special symbiosis of coal bed methane and oil and gas, which seriously restricts the production efficiency of the mine. The project requires comprehensive evaluation of the resource development potential of oil sandstone, coalbed methane and other resources in the coal system through project implementation, which has a high technical difficulty. Due to the impact of Covid-19, the preparation period for the construction is tight. Overcoming various difficulties, CCTEG has accomplished own CBM well under meticulous organization.
