In September, "Gas Pre-drainage Project of Fractured Horizontal Well in Section II and III Mining Area of Qidong Coal Mine" undertaken by Xi'an Academy of Coal-bed Methane entered the fracturing stage. On September 10, Yuan Zhaojie, General Manager of Northern Anhui Coal and Electricity Group, Wu Yuhua, General Worker, led the heads of many functional departments, such as General Defense Geological Survey Department, Planning and Development Department, Expedition and Relocation Environmental Protection Department, Technology Center, and more than 10 people to inspect and guide at construction site.
Subsequently, the technicians of the project team of Xi'an Research Institute accompanied Yuan Zhaojie and his party to inspect the material hoisting area, liquid tank area, high-pressure operation area, perforation operation area and command area to conduct in-depth exchanges with the field staff on perforation and fracturing technology. And they stress the need for high standards and strict requirements to promote the implementation of the project with quality and quantity.
"Qidong Coal Mine II-3 Mining Area Fracturing Horizontal Well Gas Pre-drainage Project" is the first fully covered gas extraction project of horizontal wells in working face undertaken by Xi'an Research Institute. Leaders at all levels of Northern Anhui Coal and Electricity Group and Xi'an Research Institute attach great importance to this project. At present, the project is progressing smoothly. The fracturing project is expected to be completed by September 30 and the drainage stage will be entered on November 30th.
