CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute Received A Letter of Gratitude From Guoneng Shendong Baode Coal Mine

Recently, due to the remarkable results achieved in the "Comprehensive Fire-zone Treatment Project in the Southern Area of No.1 Gangue Dumping Ground of Baode Coal Preparation Plant, Shendong Coal Mine", CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute received a letter of gratitude from Guoneng Shendong Baode Coal Mine.

The letter mentioned that in the fire-zone treatment project undertaken by CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute from 2023 to 2024, the institute innovatively applied its own patented technology. Based on a detailed survey of the fire zone, through a combination of deep and shallow hole exploration and layered and segmented grouting fire-fighting technology, a three-dimensional treatment of the spontaneous combustion area in the gangue dumping ground was achieved. After the grouting was completed, ecological restoration of the slope was carried out, achieving remarkable treatment results.

This project not only addressed potential safety hazards at Baode Coal Mine but also set an example in restoring the ecological environment in the mining area, demonstrating significant social benefits.

In the letter, Baode Coal Mine also specifically expressed gratitude to CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute for its consistently excellent performance in multiple projects since 2019, including the stability assessment of the gangue dumping ground, detailed exploration of fire zones, comprehensive treatment of high-temperature zones, and ecological restoration. It is hoped that the two sides will continue to strengthen cooperation in the future to jointly ensure the safe production and sustainable development of the coal mine.
