The 1st Cross-disciplinary Academic and Technical Innovation Symposium on Mineral Resource Exploration and Development was successfully held in Xianyang, Shaanxi Province.

With the mission of "Breaking Industry Barriers and Promoting Cross-field Collaboration", the symposium brought together more than 400 experts, scholars, and enterprise representatives from coal, petroleum, metallic, and non-metallic mining sectors. Participants jointly discussed cutting-edge technologies and innovative integrated development paths for mineral resource exploration and exploitation.

The conference consisted of a main forum and five academic sub-forums themed "Geological Exploration", "Green, Intelligent and Efficient Mining", "Mine Safety Guarantee", "Cross-field Integrated Innovation" and "Intelligent Technologies and Equipment". Focusing on core topics in mineral resource exploration and exploitation, experts and enterprise representatives discussed key research directions, including coordinated groundwater management, deep resource exploration, intelligent mining, safety assurance, ecological restoration, and disaster monitoring and early warning. The event facilitated technical exchanges and collaborative innovation across the coal, petroleum, and metal mining sectors, and strengthened the integration of interdisciplinary basic research and engineering practice.
