Recently, the research and demonstration project of overburden separation grouting and backfilling technology with coal gangue in Buertai Coal Mine, approved and initiated by the National Energy Group and undertaken by CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute, has successfully passed the dual acceptance of mechanical and electrical installation and engineering. As a key scientific and technological research initiative of the National Energy Group, the project has developed an intelligent slurry filling system with an annual gangue disposal capacity of at least 2 million tons. This marks a crucial step forward in utilizing coal gangue and green mining, providing strong technical support for the goal of building green mines.

The project centers on tackling the challenges of coal gangue management in the Buertai area. Aimed at addressing hidden secondary hazards such as land occupation, collapse, landslides, and spontaneous combustion caused by above-ground gangue stacking, it has carried out systematic scientific and technological research. The project team focused on the core technologies of gangue slurry separation and goaf filling, innovatively planned the layout of the above-ground filling station, and built a fully automated production system consisting of five major modules, including crushing, grinding, slurry making, grouting, and pumping for slurry transportation. The system is equipped with a 10kV dual-circuit incoming line, with a total installed capacity of 12,139.2 kW. It supports two modes: on-site hard start and remote automatic control soft start. Real-time monitoring of equipment operation data can be conducted in the background, and its intelligence level leads the industry.

In terms of project construction, the project includes 10 unit projects with a total construction area of 5,841.94 square meters. The buildings adopt a design that combines a reinforced concrete frame structure and a portal steel frame structure. They have a structural safety grade of Class II, a fire resistance grade of Class II for above-ground parts and Class I for underground parts, and a designed service life of up to 50 years. During the construction process, the project team has consistently adhered to the concept of green development. They have strictly selected energy-saving and environmentally friendly materials, innovatively applied green construction technologies, and integrated the environmental protection concept throughout the entire project construction process.
