Recently, good news came from Xiaojiawa Coal Mine of China Huadian Corporation Jinxing Energy Co., Ltd. that the Φ200mm roof high-level drilling one-time hole forming process demonstration project constructed by a new generation ZDY25000LDK high-power automatic directional drilling rig independently developed by Xi'an Research Institute has been successfully completed.
In this demonstration project, the Science and Technology Innovation Research Institute of Xi'an Academy used ZDY25000LDK high-power automatic directional drilling rig to smoothly carry out high-position large-diameter directional drilling on the roof with a total hole depth of 546m in 221303 working face of Xiaojiawa Coal Mine. The one-time hole diameter reached 200mm, which greatly improved the drilling efficiency. The maximum single-shift footage was 64.5m, and the average single-shift footage was more than 40m. Highly praised by the mine.
The technology of replacing roadway gas extraction with hole is a key direction first developed by Xi'an Research Institute and promoted nationwide. In recent years, it has provided strong support for drilling products and engineering technical services of Xi'an Research Institute, played a huge role in mine gas treatment and work safety guarantee, and achieved remarkable economic and social benefits. In order to further improve the construction efficiency of large-diameter boreholes and the gas drainage effect, and promote the all-round development of the technology of replacing roadways with holes, on the basis of summarizing the scientific and technological achievements of the "11th Five-Year Plan" and the "12th Five-Year Plan", combined with market demands, the Science and Technology Innovation Research Institute has been brave in innovation and developed one-time hole forming technology and equipment for high-position large-diameter directional drilling of Φ200mm roof. The process technology and supporting equipment have been comprehensively upgraded, improving the comprehensive hole forming efficiency and drilling safety in the construction of large-diameter gas drainage drilling. This technology plays an important role in giving full play to the advantages of drilling industry of Xi'an Research Institute and occupying new technological commanding heights and economic growth points. After the release of one-time drilling technology for Φ200mm roof high-position drilling, it was selected into the 2021 "Science and Technology Innovation China" Pilot Technology List.
The successful implementation of the one-time hole forming demonstration project of Φ200mm roof high-level drilling has laid a solid foundation for the comprehensive promotion of this technology and helped Xi'an Research Institute to develop with high quality.
