The real-time seismic monitoring technology along with mining or excavation of CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute was exhibited at the China Gansu International Mining (Energy) and Technology Equipment Exhibition recently. This technology provides an intelligent structure accurate advance detection solution for the detection of hidden geological disasters in coal mining working faces in coal mines.
The technology uses the seismic waves excited by the excavator source to identify the static geological structure in front of the mining face and the dynamic catastrophic geological body caused by mining disturbance, realizing the transition from static detection to dynamic monitoring of mine earthquakes. It overcomes the drawbacks of limited application of explosive sources, and has the advantages of safety, green, low cost, synchronous exploration and mining, "long exposure" high precision, and online acquisition and real-time processing, which can realize the fine detection of static geological conditions such as faults, collapse columns, and coal seam thinning areas within 200 meters in front of the mining face in coal mines, and the monitoring and early warning of dynamic catastrophic conditions such as roof crushing zones, stress concentration areas, and protruding danger areas. At present, the farthest detection distance has reached 400 meters, and the verification accuracy of faults above 1 meter exceeds 90%. It effectively solves the contradiction of imbalance between exploration and mining in coal mines, further improves the detection accuracy, and meets the current construction needs of intelligent geological support systems for coal mining enterprises.
At present, it has been promoted and applied in major coal companies such as Wuhai Energy, Shaanxi Coal Group, Jinneng Holding Group, and Huaihe Energy, and has achieved good results.
