Recently, three people were killed when water and sand burst at the 1371 fully mechanized mining face of Jufeng Coal Industry in Luoping County, Qujing City, Yunnan Province. CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute (Group) Co., Ltd., actively assisted and cooperated with the 198 coal mine geological Team of Yunnan Province and the accident investigation expert team, and used the borehole imager to peer into the accident investigation hole and provide relevant data in time. Technicians from the Geophysical Exploration Institute Department arrived at the scene of the accident investigation with explosion-proof borehole imager. The borehole imager is equipped with 150 meters of cable and supports IP68 class dust-proof and waterproof. Four holes for investigation of the accident were recorded. The first hole was in the pre-mining area with a depth of 300 meters, and the second to fourth holes were in the goaf with a depth of about 130 meters. Among them, hole No. 4 has broken through the falling zone, and the gas concentration at the surface detection hole reaches 60%. After the No. 4 hole peeping video, the expert group decided to seal the No. 4 hole. The second and third holes were drilled and peeped for many times, and water was found in the depths of 133 meters. In the investigation of the accident, CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute responded positively and cooperated fully, and the serious and responsible working attitude of the technical personnel was recognized by the mine party and Yunnan 198 coal field geological team. The drilling and detect results provided strong evidence for the investigation of the accident.
