CCTEG Xi’an research institute has been appraized by China National Coal Association as having reached the international leading level on the method research, instrument manufacturing, software development, processing and interpretation of underground geophysical exploration. Currently, there are 40 researchers engaged in underground geophysical research in coal mines, including 16 with PHDS, 20 with masters, and 15 with senior engineer titles. The intrinsically safe YTZ-3 storage telemetering seismograph with no cable and KDZ3113 mine based seismic exploration instrument have been developed with independent intellectual property rights. We have independently developed the channel wave data processing and interpretation system called "GeoCoal" and the coalmine 3D seismic numerical simulation software based on the CPU platform. Perspective channel wave technology and equipment for underground coal mine won the first prize of the science and technology award of China National Coal Association. Channel wave exploration technology has won many national and provincial awards, and has undertaken significant scientific research projects such as National Science Foundation and National 973 Project. In the long-term practice of mine channel wave exploration project, we have established a complete set of scientific quality management system for mine channel data acquisition, data processing, data interpretation. Through strict quality management, the precision and accuracy of mine channel wave exploration project outcomes are guaranteed, which plays an important role in leading the safe and efficient mining of underground coal mines.
