The ZDY12000LD directional drill independently developed by CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute has won the favor of a mine in Indonesia with its excellent performance and reputation, and successfully signed a purchase agreement for two sets of equipment. Faced with the urgent project needs of the mining area, CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute responded quickly and sent an elite technical team to Indonesia. With a high sense of responsibility and superb technology, it wrote a new chapter of technical guidance and service in a foreign country.
Faced with complex geological problems such as mudstone shrinkage and coal seam collapse, CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute relied on its advanced technology and equipment and the unremitting efforts of on-site technicians to work closely with Indonesian customers and efficiently guided customers to complete the 549-meter main hole and a total of more than 1,000 meters of drilling in just 32 days. This cooperation achieved a historic breakthrough in Indonesian coal mine underground directional drilling technology and demonstrated the stability and adaptability of CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute's directional drilling rigs under extreme geological conditions.
As of July 2024, Indonesian customers have independently used the directional drilling technology and equipment to successfully complete the construction of 3 drilling sites and 17 directional drilling holes, with the maximum hole depth reaching 552 meters and a total footage of more than 8,000 meters, effectively improving the technical level of coal mine gas control in Indonesia and ensuring the safe and efficient mining of coal mines. The high-quality service of the technical team and the excellent performance of the directional drilling rig have won high praise from Indonesian customers, laying a solid foundation for the two parties to deepen cooperation in geological assurance in the future. This cooperation has also accumulated valuable experience for CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute to further expand the international market.
