Recently, a team of experts from CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute went to Novokuznet, Russia, and successfully completed the export installation, commissioning and training of the first coal and rock equipment.
CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute is the secretariat affiliated unit of the Coal and Petrology Branch of the National Coal Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC42/SC4) and has formulated 11 national coal and petrology national standards and 10 coal industry standards. It is the only unit in China that has the qualification to produce and sell reflectance reference materials for microscope photometers.
The MSP-Ⅱ microscope photometer and its sample preparation auxiliary equipment exported to Russia this time are scientific research instruments designed specifically for coal petrology testing. It can accurately perform quantitative tests on reflectivity, microscopic components, microscopic fluorescence spectra and intensity, and coke optical structure of organic rocks such as coal, providing strong technical support for scientific researchers and adding new highlights to the exchanges and cooperation between China and Russia in the field of science and technology.
