At the invitation of Jiangxi Yifeng Wanguo Mining Co., Ltd., a group of experts from CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute went to Wanguo Mining to carry out training on the application of geophysical exploration technology for hidden disaster prevention in metal mines. More than 40 people from local mine safety supervision departments and mine managers participated.
Previously, Wanguo Mining invited several geophysical instrument manufacturers to compete in technology. In two consecutive technical tests, the geophysical results of CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute were highly consistent with the geological conditions revealed on site, which won the high recognition of Wanguo Mining. This result was subsequently reported to the superior regulatory department by Wanguo Mining, which led to the successful holding of this technical exchange meeting.
Before the exchange meeting, Wanguo Mining accompanied the leaders of the Supervision Bureau and the main persons in charge of each mine to visit and study underground. The technical staff of CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute conducted a practical demonstration of mine transient electromagnetic detection underground, and explained in detail the operation process of the equipment in hidden disaster prevention and blind mine body exploration in mines, showing its application value in actual work.
At the exchange meeting, a team of experts from CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute reported on the application of relevant geophysical exploration technologies in metal mines. Wanguo Mining also shared the verification results of mine transient electromagnetic tests, further proving the importance of this equipment in concealed disaster detection and drainage, and mineral vein exploration.
In the future, CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute will continue to deepen cooperation with metal mines, promote the latest mine geophysical exploration technology and equipment, and provide escort for hidden disaster prevention and control in metal mines.
