On April 19, the Shaanxi Bureau of the State Administration of Mine Safety held a video conference on the promotion of geological guarantee work for coal mine safety production in the province. Nearly 2,000 people attended the meeting, including leaders of the Shaanxi Bureau and all inspectors, heads of coal mine safety supervision departments and relevant technical personnel in coal-producing cities and counties (cities, districts), and key management personnel of all coal mining enterprises in the province. The meeting was chaired by Cao Zuoyong, chief engineer of Shaanxi Bureau. Du Yaobo, Chairman of CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute, He Wenxin, Deputy General Manager, Cheng Jianyuan, Chief Engineer, and geological support experts were invited to attend and make reports.
Du Yaobo introduced in detail the overall situation of CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute's coal mine geological support work in the province. He mentioned that in the past three years, under the guidance and organization of the Shaanxi Bureau, CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute has achieved remarkable results in coal mine water damage consultation, mine major disaster risk safety consultation, and survey of hidden disaster factors in coal mines. At the same time, the "Guiding Opinions on the Survey and Management of Hidden Disaster-Causing Factors in Coal Mines in Shaanxi Province" (Trial Implementation) and the "Technical Specifications for the Construction of Transparent Geological Guarantee in Coal Mines in Shaanxi Province" (Trial Implementation) were also compiled and worked with domestic coal enterprises, universities, and research institutes. The institute worked together to form a complete system of hidden disaster factors and disaster management technology and equipment in coal mines, providing strong technical support for safe production in coal mines. He said that he would take this promotion meeting as an opportunity to continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation, jointly promote the development and application of geological support technology in coal safety production, and make greater contributions to the high-quality development of the province's coal industry and the development of new productivity.
