In order to propagating the tradition of respecting teachers and valuing education, construct the culture a view of respecting teachers and valuing education in the new era, CCTEG Xi 'an Research Institute held the 37th Teacher's Day seminar for graduate tutors and the meeting for Excellent Tutors commendation on September 10.
In 1979 and 1993, CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute was approved by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council as the enrollment unit for master and doctoral students. In 2003, CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute was approved by the Ministry of Personnel as the establishment unit of post-doctoral scientific research stations. In 2009, the Institute was awarded as the Outstanding Post-doctoral Scientific Research Station of Shaanxi Province. At present, there are 15 PhD supervisors and 27 master supervisors, 64 PhD students and 182 master students.
The achievements of graduate education cannot be reached without the hard work and silent dedication of graduate tutors. A good tutor is a guide for graduate students to temper their character, learn knowledge, innovate their thinking and contribute to the industry. On the occasion of Teachers' Day, CCTEG Xi 'an Research Institute conduct the selection of excellent tutors. Dong Shuning, Hu Weiyue, Zhang Qun, Cheng Jianyuan and Hao Shijun, who won the title of excellent tutors, were commended at the meeting. And the representatives of excellent tutors and students made speeches.
President Wang Haijun extended his sincere greetings and best wishes to all the tutors who have worked hard in the teaching and research line and devoted their wisdom and efforts to the postgraduate education of CCTEG Xi 'an Research Institute. He pointed out that the postgraduate education of Xi’an Research Institute has achieved phased results. Three aspects of work will be strengthened in the next stage.
