The advanced geological exploration technology of "long-drilling and long-exploration" of CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute (Group) Co., Ltd. is based on the technical principle of "geophysical prospecting in holes" and the working mode of underground long drilling and branch hole in coal mines to realize long-distance exploration of the occurrence form of coal seam and hidden disaster-causing geological factors in front of the tunneling roadway. New geophysical prospecting technologies such as borehole transient electromagnetic, borehole geological radar and mining borehole gamma logging are adopted to detect the geological structure and water-rich abnormal area within 30m radial range of the borehole. It overcomes the problems such as "short excavation and short exploration", separation of drilling and exploration, and separation of exploration existing in the advanced detection of traditional tunneling roadways, realizes the integrated working mode of "long excavation and long exploration", integration of drilling and exploration, and parallel exploration, meets the needs of "long-distance" detection along the direction of the tunneling roadway, close-range high-precision detection around the roadway, all-round structural detection and hidden hazard investigation of disaster-causing geological factors, and provides a geological guarantee basis for safe and rapid tunneling of the roadway.
