A commencement ceremony was held at the construction site in Wugou Town, Huaibei City for the "Four-inclusive" Grouting Reconstruction Project on Working Face 1010-2 of Wugou Coal Mine undertaken by Xi'an Research Institute Hydrology Branch. Ji Yadong, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Xi'an Research Institute, Wu Yuhua, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Anhui North Coal & Electricity Group Co., Ltd., and Li Liangang, Director of Wugou Coal Mine attended the commencement ceremony.
Wugou Coal Mine is short of coal resources, and the coal pillar under loose aquifer has a large amount of overburden. In order to liberate coal pillar resources, Anhui North Coal & Electricity Group Co., Ltd. and Xi'an Research Institute have actively cooperated with each other to give full play to their advantages and jointly develop grouting reconstruction methods for loose strata, hoping to overcome the national technical problems of water and sand burst in thin bedrock through the implementation of "four-bearing" grouting reconstruction project on 1010-2 working face of Wugou Coal Mine.
The implementation of this project not only effectively liberates the coal resources in Wugou Coal Mine and prolongs the service life of the mine, but also indicates that the roof water disaster prevention and control in China's coal mines has shifted from passive drainage of the original loose aquifer on the roof to active regional transformation, filling a gap in roof water disaster prevention and control technology. This is also another new technology with core competitiveness of Xi'an Research Institute after water inrush rescue and floor area treatment, which will have great promotion value in Lianghuai, Shandong, Henan, Inner Mongolia-Shaanxi and other regions.
