Geophysical Prospecting Instrument Institute, Institute Operation Office, Transparent Mine Institute, and Marketing Center participated in the discussion. President Hu firstly congratulated the Sichuan Coal Group on the smooth completion of the judicial reorganization, and reported on some key tasks of CCTEG Xi'an Institute in recent years. Liu Wanbo, Chairman of Sichuan Coal Group, extended a warm welcome to Hu and his delegation, and pointed out that Sichuan Coal Group and CCTEG Xi’an Institute have been conducting long-term friendly cooperation, especially in the area of water hazard management, which has solved many practical problems for Sichuan Coal Group. In recent years, Sichuan Coal Group has attached great importance to science and technology, cooperated with various scientific research institutes and universities, and established post-doctoral workstations to ensure safe, efficient and green mining of coal mines.
Zhang Peng, deputy director of the Institute of Geophysical Instruments, introduced the latest technical equipment and methods of the current geophysical prospecting sector. In February, National Mine Safety Administration issued Document No. 2 of 2021 and clearly stated that the mines should upload the hydrological dynamic monitoring data to National Mine Security Bureau. As the earliest research and development of hydrological monitoring systems in China, CCTEG Xi’an Institute has accumulated valuable experience in this field and has completed uploading of hydrological monitoring data in Henan, Shaanxi, Shandong and other regions. Relying on the status of CCTEG Xi'an Institute in the domestic hydrogeology field, it has established a water hazard prevention and control expert diagnosis system, so as to realize the real-time sharing and research of data, and provide a comprehensive guarantee for the early warning and prevention of water hazards. From March to May 2021, CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute has conducted on-site surveys of 20 pairs of mines under the Sichuan Coal Group and formulated detailed solutions. Finally, Liu Wanbo made a concluding speech. He noted that the hydrogeological conditions of Sichuan Coal Group are extremely complicated, and expressed his willingness to cooperate with CCTEG Xi’an Institute to solve water hazards through scientific and technological means and realize transparent mining.
