On Dec 19, China National Coal Association and China Coal Society issued the decision on the recognition of projects and individuals winning the China National Coal Association Science and Technology Award in 2023. A total of 21 scientific and technological achievements and one innovation team of CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute were honored, including 1 special prize, 7 first prizes, 8 second prizes, 5 third prizes and 1 innovation team. CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute has 4 projects winning the first prize and creates a record high in the number of first prizes as a first completed unit.
The China National Coal Association Science and Technology Award is selected once a year, aiming at rewarding units and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the scientific and technological progress and independent innovation of the coal industry. It covers all professional fields of the coal industry. In 2023, a total of 393 projects were awarded, including 4 special prizes, 46 first prizes, 184 second prizes, 150 third prizes, and 9 innovation teams.
