Gui Laibao, Deputy Director General of National Coal Mine Safety Administration and the Party member, accompanied by Tian Guangxiong, Director General and the Secretary of the Party of Shaanxi Coal Mine Safety Administration, and Gao Xinghong, Deputy Director General of Shaanxi Coal Mine Safety Administration, inspected Xi’an Research Institute of CCTEG on July 9. Dong Shuning, Chairman and the Secretary of the Party committee of Xi’an Research Institute, and Head of related department attended a meeting after the inspection.
After a brief introduction of basic situation and major industries development status of Xi’an Research Institute, President Dong Shuning especially introduced the technology application and contribution of Xi’an Research Institute to preventing water hazard and solving gas problem in Chinese coal mines.
Gui Laibao gave high praise to Xi’an Research Institute for the efficient performance in coal mine safety and production, and highly appreciated the achievements accomplished in advanced field management of water hazard prevention & control, and high-power directional drilling technology and equipment innovated by Xi’an Research Institute, especially in amending “Detailed Rules of Coal Mine Water Hazard Prevention & Control” and establishing industry standards. In addition, Gui Laibao indicated that Xi’an Research Institute should exploit its advantages, continue to cultivate talents and explore technology, and strive for safe, green and efficient coal mining.
Delegates visited drilling equipment workshop, water hazard prevention & control lab, geophysical instrument and the exhibition hall of Xi’an Research Institute after the meeting.
