Recently, ground source heat pump demonstration project of the Shandong Zhangqiu Goaf Management Headquarter undertaken by CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute has been completed and put into operation. The project has remarkable energy-saving and emission reduction effects. This is the first ground source heat pump project constructed by CCTEG Xi 'an Research Institute in Shandong province, which has played a demonstrating role in the development and utilization of geothermal energy in Shandong University and surrounding areas.
The project is located in the northeast of Shengjing Street, Zhangqiu District, Jinan city, with a total construction area of about 1036.8 square meters, cooling load of 124.44 kW and heat load of 82.94 kW. The main content is the construction and installation of shallow geothermal heat source heat pump system. This technology adopts closed buried tube heat exchanger and underground rock mass coupling heat exchange. Relying on heat pump for energy conversion and promotion, hear resource will be sent from the transmission and distribution system to the end, and be used for heating and cooling for office and living area. System design was optimized basing on the thermal response test. Automatic monitoring system and intelligent control platform were built at the meantime, which realize unattended state and high efficiency and energy saving. , It also increased the energy saving efficiency by 30%~40% comparing with the conventional system.
After more than 30 days of hard work, the project team successfully completed the drilling construction and equipment installation tasks. They also overcame the difficulties of complex formation conditions and cross-operation. On September 10, the refrigeration system of the headquarters was successfully tested. Indoor temperature of the office and living area was reduced from 30℃ to 20℃ ~ 24℃, which shows obvious cooling effect.
The EER (energy efficiency ratio) of refrigeration in summer is 5.8 while COP of heating in winter is 4.6, which are far higher than air source heat pump and other heating and cooling methods. According to the calculation, 432,000 KWh of electric energy can be saved annually comparing with the split type air conditioning system. Thus, 115.9 tons of standard coal consumption, 430.7 tons of carbon dioxide, 13.0 tons of sulfur dioxide and 0.65 tons of nitrogen oxide emissions can be reduced respectively, which has significant environmental effects and economic benefits.
