On September 14, PS21-11-U2-V well and PS21-11-U4-V well of the Surface Gas Treatment Well Project in Pansan Coal Mine 2222(1) Working Face in Huainan Mining Area undertaken by Xi'an Research Institute of China Coal Technology Group Co., Ltd. were ignited successively to produce gas.
Pansan Coal Mine is located in Huaihe Alluvial Plain, with complex geological conditions and widely developed fault groups. In view of these problems encountered in the surface gas treatment well project on 2222(1) working face, CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute organized technicians to optimize the drilling fluid system and rapid completion technology to reduce the risk of formation collapse and burial. At the same time, geological steering while drilling and rotary magnetic steering docking technologies are adopted to realize accurate docking of 4 horizontal well groups, with a inseam drilling rate of 94.65% in the horizontal section. The fracturing process adopts one-stage three-cluster intensive perforation and 14-16m3/min large discharge fracturing technology, which is characterized by large discharge, large liquid volume, large sand addition and high strength sand addition, greatly improving the reservoir transformation effect.
The successful producing of PS21-11-U2-V and PS21-11-U4-V wells has explored a complete set of innovative and effective technical methods for the development and utilization of deep thin coalbed methane in China's coal mine areas. As the general contractor of this project, CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute has given full play to its team technical and management advantages, setting a good example for the general contracting project of coalbed methane development.
