This logging tool provides real-time measurement of natural gamma radiation intensity in various directions around the borehole. It aids in identifying coal seam roof and floor during drilling by detecting variations in natural gamma radiation emitted by different formations. When used with imaging data processing software, it enables real-time display, pre-processing, and analysis of azimuthal gamma logging data, facilitating efficient data management during drilling. The tool assists in lithological characterization, coal seam interface identification, and quality monitoring. It has a measurement range of 0-350 API, ±4% accuracy, and a detection radius of 0.3m.
