On the afternoon of March 16th, CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute held the Party Committee's theoretical study center group (expanded) safety production special study meeting and the signing ceremony of the safety production commitment. The meeting was chaired by Haijun Wang (president). More than 90 people including members of the leadership team, directors of various departments attended the meeting.
In the meeting, all the participants watched and studied the TV feature film "Safety is more important than Mount Tai—Learning General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on production safety". Wang took the "11.22" Sinopec Donghuang oil pipeline leakage and explosion accident in Qingdao Huangdao as the lead, and learned from the aspects of "strengthening the awareness of red lines and implementing the safe development strategy", "leading cadres should dare to take responsibility", and "emergency management", "the spirit of general secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on safe production". And he also interpreted the revised content of the new "Safety Production Law" from the aspects of "the revision background and history of the new safety law", "the requirements of the new safety law for enterprises" and "the requirements of the new safety law for third-party institutions".
During the seminar, Wang took the lead in making a special speech on "implementing the responsibility for safety production and building a long-term effective mechanism in an all-round way". After earnestly studying and comprehending the important instructions and instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping, combined with the study of the key revisions of the new security law, Wang shared four common points with everyone, the concept of adhering to the people's interests above all else is more prominent, the identification of safety production responsibility more clearly, the punishment for security violations has been significantly increased, and the development and security are well coordinated. Yao Ningping, Yao (general manager), made a special speech on "strengthening risk prevention and control capability". He also shared his own understanding on pay close attention to the rectification of hidden dangers and strictly abide by the first line of defense of safe production. After the seminar, the signing ceremony of the safety production commitment was held. Wang and Yao successively signed the "2022 Work Safety Commitment Letter" and solemnly made a safety commitment to staffs.
