In order to further improve 3D seismic interpretation level of mine geologists, facilitate the use of seismic exploration results, and provide geological support for coal mining, the Seismological Institute of CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute held a five-day three-dimensional seismic workstation application and mine geophysical prospecting technical training courses from July 26 to 30. More than 50 people, including the leaders of Huaibei Mining Group and the key members of the geological survey department of Huaibei Mining's coal mines participated. This training is taught by the project manager of the Seismological Institute, focusing on the principles of earthquake interpretation and the practical operation of the interpretation software. The training is conducted in a combination of lecture, practical operation and Q&A. The geophysical prospecting experts of CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute introduced the new technologies of mine water prevention and control geophysical prospecting, such as channel wave seismic prospecting and mining and excavation, new geophysical prospecting equipment and transparent mine technology, which were warmly welcomed by the students.
