Shallow artificial seismic exploration uses a multi-channel seismic method in the water area. Through multiple stack technology, we strive to obtain stable and continuous reflection waves of the bedrock surface under the thin cover layer, so as to facilitate the acquisition of the time difference of the small faults in the Quaternary system, the bedrock surface and the weathering layer. It is helpful to improve the reliability of shallow fault contact’s interpretation. Water area construction generally adopts drag-and-drop (endpoint excitation and unilateral reception) method, that is, the receiving cable is hung at the stern of the working ship and extended backwards, and the controllable seismic source equipment is hung at the stern of the ship, deep underwater to a certain depth, and a certain distance from the cable. Continuous navigation, timing excitation and receiving records are implemented. Water area construction has its own special working environment. It is necessary to turn on the noise monitoring mode of the shallow seismograph and monitor the multi-channel streamer in real time during the work, and ensure that the cable is in a straight line or approximately straight line.
