Recently, a summary meeting on the construction stage of ZDY23000LDK high-power automatic directional drilling rig replacing roadway with hole was successfully held in Huainan Geological Exploration Engineering Branch, systematically summarizing the successful practice of this type of directional drilling rig completing the high-position large-diameter directional drilling construction of 1# roof at 1223(3) working face of Zhangji Coal Mine in Huainan. Cheng Heyu, Chief Engineer of Huainan Geological Exploration Engineering Branch, Li Quanxin, Executive Vice President of Scientific and Technological Innovation Institute of Xi'an Research Institute, Song Haitao, Vice President of Drilling Branch and relevant technical personnel attended the meeting.
The project aims to demonstrate and promote high-power automatic directional drilling rigs and evaluate the gas drainage effect of large-diameter boreholes. Scientific and Technological Innovation Research Institute of Xi'an Research Institute provides drilling technical services, and Huainan Geological Exploration Engineering Branch is responsible for the specific implementation in the downhole special drilling work area. During the construction, a Ф127mm screen pipe was lowered into the whole hole section and a Ф200mm drill bit was used to form a hole with a depth of 560+8m at one time. The results fully verified the ability of the high-power automatic directional drilling rig of Xi'an Research Institute to form a hole with a diameter of Ф200mm at one time in complex roof rock strata, further promoting the popularization and demonstration of the construction technology of "replacing roadways with holes" of Xi'an Research Institute.
The meeting summarized the first-stage construction of directional long drilling with hole instead of roadway, fully affirmed the stage achievements made by high-power automatic directional drilling rig and process technology of Xi'an Research Institute in roof high-position large-diameter drilling construction, and put forward opinions and suggestions on drilling rig equipment, supporting machines and tools and construction technology. Based on the needs of the construction site in Huainan Mining Area, relevant technicians attending the meeting discussed the optimization scheme and drilling technology of the drilling rig, providing ideas and basis for the smooth development of follow-up work.
