On February 19, China Coal Industry Association appraised the scientific and technological achievements of "Key Technology of Curtain Water Interception in Open-pit Coal Mine" project jointly completed by CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute and National Energy Group Yanbao Energy, and identified that the research results have reached the international leading level.
"Key Technology of Curtain Water Interception in Open-pit Coal Mine" is a major special research and practice project that uses curtain water interception comprehensive technology for the first time in my country's open-pit coal mines to achieve water interception and emission reduction. The project has been implemented since 2014, and all research contents were completed in September 2020. At present, the project has 8 authorized patents and 12 accepted patents. A total of 20 papers and 1 monograph have been published with this project as the research object.
Aiming at the perennial water supply of river wetlands outside the boundary of the open-pit coal mine and the impact on the safe mining of the open-pit coal mine and the regional hydrological environment, the key technical system of the water interception curtain has been developed.
The implementation of the project provides new ideas and technologies for groundwater control, safe and green mining, ecological restoration, energy conservation and carbon reduction in open-pit coal mines.
It has important demonstration significance for ecological environment and water resources protection, water disaster prevention and control in the development of open-pit coal mines in China.
