Recently, at the invitation of the Energy Branch of Housuo, Qujing City, Yunnan Province, Zhu Yonggang, Deputy Director of the Geophysical Prospecting Institute of Xi'an Research Institute, led a team to have a discussion with the Energy Branch of Housuo. The two sides had a detailed exchange on gas and water disaster prevention and control services. Wang Juzhang, director of the Energy Branch of the Institute, said that the mines in the jurisdiction are faced with the dual threats of water damage and gas, which seriously restricts the safe and efficient mining of coal mines. The low coal mine output, poor benefits and weak personnel and technical strength have brought great challenges to the supervision of the Energy Bureau. In view of the leading level of water disaster prevention, geophysical prospecting and drilling technology and equipment in China, the Energy Branch of China Coal Science and Technology Group Corporation Xi'an Research Institute convened the chief engineers of the mines within its jurisdiction to discuss together, and hoped that Xi'an Research Institute would provide corresponding solutions to the practical difficulties faced by each mine.
Zhu Yonggang, Deputy Director of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, reported the latest progress and technical equipment of Xi'an Research Institute in geophysical exploration drilling, gave specific solutions and corresponding technical equipment for the preliminary investigation of each mine, and promised that if conditions permit, special personnel could be sent to the Energy Branch of the Institute to provide timely technical support for each mine. After the meeting, the chief engineers of all mines within the jurisdiction of the Energy Bureau of the Institute made speeches.
This symposium started the dual cooperation between the technology promotion of geophysical prospecting institutes and government supervision, providing new ideas for the promotion of geophysical prospecting technology and equipment in the future.
