On June 14th, the 2018 Central Enterprise Iridium Innovation and Innovation Contest Summary Awards were held in Beijing. The China Coal Science and Technology Group won a total of 8 awards. Among them, Xi'an Research Institute Wang Chuanliu team "punching and shearing compound drill bit and drill pipe joint joint bionic technology" The project won the award for excellence.
The project is mainly aimed at the current situation of low drilling efficiency and high cost in coal mine underground rock formation, and through the innovation of drill pipe and drill bit technology. The impact + shear composite rock crushing mechanism was proposed for the first time, and the male joint bionic design was realized by simulating the animal spine. Combined with the new technology such as the active protection device for cutting teeth, a drill combination with high impact resistance and high life was developed. In order to solve the problem of “drilling” caused by the breakage of the drill pipe and the short life and low efficiency of the drill bit of the hard rock difficult to drill formation. The project results can also be applied to the drilling of non-coal fields such as oil drilling, non-excavation, engineering piles and tunnels.
This competition is a good experience of Xi'an Research Institute on the technology innovation model of open collaborative platform, and is an effective attempt to further stimulate the innovation vitality of researchers.
