On the morning of May 13, the second meeting of the Fifth Council of China Coal Industry Association was held in Beijing. The meeting commended the winners of the 2018 Association Science and Technology Awards. The Xi'an Research Institute get the first prize of science and technology in coal industry about the project of "large-diameter high-level directional drilling and hole forming technology and supporting equipment for complex roof rock formations" and "concealed structural treatment based on radial jet-forming holes and limestone aquifer reconstruction technology". Dong Shuning, who is the chairman of the Xi'an Research Institute and the secretary of the party committee attended the conference.
The project of “large-diameter high-level directional drilling and hole forming technology and supporting equipment for complex roof rock formation” was jointly completed by Xi'an Research Institute and Huainan Mining (Group) and Shanxi Jinmei Group. The project is aimed at solving the problem of coal mine underground decompression and gas control. In order to develop a complete set of high-level directional drilling pilot hole efficient directional drilling complex roof rock hole forming and large diameter high-efficiency reaming technology, Xi'an Research Institute and Huainan Mining (Group) and Shanxi Jinmei Group have developed supporting equipment. The project results are promoted and applied in Jincheng, Huainan, Huaibei, Jiaozuo, Yungui and other mining areas. The maximum hole depth is 1026m and the maximum hole diameter is Ф220mm, which effectively improves the drilling efficiency and drilling of the directional drilling of mining and pressure relief gas drainage. The hole diameter and the drilling depth provide technical equipment support for the mining and unloading gas control of the coal mine working face and the development of the “hole-to-pass” technology.
The project of “basing on the hidden structure control of the radial jet and the limestone aquifer reconstruction technology” was jointly completed by Xi'an Research Institute and Jizhong Energy Fengfeng Group. The project introduces the radial jet hole making technology, and through the technical research and experiment, the single hole jet fault production method is formed. For the first time, the single ground straight hole is realized, and the fault occurrence and location are explored through multiple jet holes; Radial jet hole making process, the first time to achieve the radial hole grouting function, completed the water-conducting fault grouting plugging and grouting transformation of the ash aquifer; using the jet inter-embedded cloth hole and the ground directional hole combined to form A new mode of full-coverage and no-blind area water damage control has been completed, and the technical system for the treatment of coal seam floor areas in the North China coal field has been improved and developed. The project results have been successfully applied in Xijing and Dongpang Mine North Wells of Xingtai Coal Mine.
