From June 20 to 21, according to the unified arrangement of poverty alleviation work in Shaanxi Province, Zhao Xinan, deputy director of the Xi'an Research Institute Party Committee, and Hui Jungang, deputy director of the Xi'an Research Institute, went to Dianchi Village, Gaochuan Town, Xixiang County, Hanzhong City to conduct poverty alleviation work docking.
On the 20th, Director Zhao Xinan first went to Xixiang County to communicate with the relevant leaders in charge of poverty alleviation work on the overview of poverty alleviation villages and related requirements for poverty alleviation work. The next day, they went to the Dianchi Village from the county town to visit and discuss. After the symposium, Director Zhao and his entourage went to the tea industry park and the black fungus demonstration base in the village to conduct on-the-spot understanding.
Dianchi Village is located in the southeast of Gaochuan Town. It is mainly composed of hilly landforms in the mountains. It belongs to low-yield fields and mainly produces rice, rapeseed, corn, potato and other crops. The leading industries are mainly tea and family farming. There are 10 villager groups in the village, 1116 households with 3115 persons, and there are 395 households with 1,147 poverty-stricken households. Most of the poor households lack funds for industrial development, lack of technology, cause poverty due to illness, and economic income is exported to labor. Agriculture and planting tea are the mainstays.
According to the adjustment of poverty alleviation work in Shaanxi Province, from June this year, Zhangchuan Village, Qinghuayu Town, Baota District, Yan'an City will no longer serve as a counterpart for Xi'an Research Institute.
