From August to September, the finals of the 2019 Shaanxi Youth Vocational Skills Competition jointly organized by the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Office, the Provincial Science and Technology Department and the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions were respectively held in Xi'an Aerospace Technical School, Baoji Petroleum Pipe Co., Ltd., Shaanxi Provincial Mechanical Advanced Technical School and China Railway First Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd.
The Shaanxi Youth Vocational Skills Competition is a provincial first-class competition. It divides into four competitions, ordinary fitter, maintenance electrician, ordinary lathe, and building information model (BIM) designer. And it consists of two parts: theoretical examination and practical operation. A total of 9 contestants from Xi'an Research Institute and more than 400 young workers from the province participated in the finals match. After intense competition, Sun Sensen, the manufacturing center of Xi'an Research Institute, won the second grade in final. In accordance with the spirit of the "Notice on Holding the 2019 Shaanxi Youth Vocational Skills Competition", the top 5 players in the finals of the Skills Competition will be awarded the title of "Shaanxi Technical Experts" after verification by the Organizing Committee Office. .
