CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute Conducts Specialized Training on Mine Water Prevention and Major Hazard Control in Wuhai City

Recently, at the invitation of Wuhai Emergency Management Bureau, CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute organized a specialized training lecture on mine water prevention and major hazard control in Wuhai City. The event aimed to enhance awareness and technical capabilities in water hazard prevention among local mining enterprises and strengthen regional mine safety production.

Six experts from CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute, with their rich practical experience and profound professional knowledge, provided detailed interpretations of the "Specification for Investigation of Hidden Disaster Factors in Coal Mines" based on the hydrogeological conditions and characteristics of Wuhai's Zhuozishan Coalfield. The lecture introduced knowledge including investigation of hidden disaster factors in coal mines, effectiveness of transparent geological guarantee system construction, active prevention and control technologies for typical water hazards and water resource protection/utilization in Zhuozishan Coalfield, water hazard prevention during flood season, application practices of drilling technology and equipment, and application prospects of artificial intelligence in smart mines, all tailored to Wuhai's geological conditions and work experience.

Relevant leaders from Wuhai Emergency Management Bureau attended the lecture. They affirmed CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute's long-term technical accumulation and advantages in mine water hazard prevention, expressed gratitude for its technical support to Wuhai's mine water hazard prevention work, and hoped the institute would continue leveraging its professional advantages to make greater contributions to the safe and stable development of Wuhai's coal industry.
