Recently, the long-distance directional water exploration and drainage project implemented by CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute in Gaojialiang Coal Mine has successfully passed the acceptance check.
The project adopts the industry's most advanced "directional drilling + borehole geophysical prospecting technology", which eliminates the long-term threats of roof sandstone water and goaf water accumulation faced by Gaojialiang Coal Mine, significantly improves the accuracy and efficiency of water hazard prevention and control in Gaojialiang Coal Mine, and provides a safety guarantee for water exploration and drainage operations in roadway excavation.
The length of the borehole constructed in this project exceeds 1,200 meters, far surpassing the operating limit of 300 to 500 meters for conventional drilling, which has significantly enhanced the exploration effect.
The drilling operation utilizes an advanced measurement while drilling (MWD) system to adjust the borehole trajectory in real-time, ensuring that the borehole accurately penetrates the target formation with an error range controlled within 1%.
The project combines borehole transient electromagnetic technology, which effectively expands the detection range of a single hole and improves the detection accuracy. At the same time, due to the optimized construction plan, the frequency of ground equipment relocation is reduced, the construction period is shortened by more than 30%, the construction cost is reduced, the risk of roadway excavation is greatly reduced, and the production efficiency is improved.
