The commencement ceremony for the Phase I control project of the pressurized mining area at Bulian Gou Coal Mine, undertaken by CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute, was held at the construction site.

This project represents the largest-scale and most technologically advanced water hazard control initiative ever undertaken within the China Huadian Coal system. The southwestern area of Bulian Gou Coal Mine features complex geological structures and hydrogeological conditions, characterized by relatively thin aquifuge layers in the floor strata, as well as the presence of water-conducting faults and collapse columns. The treatment aims to achieve comprehensive control of Ordovician limestone water hazards in the mine, eliminate water threat risks, enhance mine disaster management efficiency, and promote coordinated development between resource extraction and ecological protection.
This project not only meets the safety development requirements of Bulian Gou Coal Mine, but also represents a significant embodiment of deepened technical cooperation between CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute and China Huadian Coal Group. Upon completion, it will establish a replicable and scalable technical model for Ordovician limestone water hazard control and water-preserved mining within the coal industry system.
