Recently, the National Advanced and Applicable Technology and Equipment Exhibition for Mine Rescue was held in Shandong. This exhibition is a concentrated display of the latest achievements in China's mine emergency rescue system. Innovative equipment independently developed by CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute, such as large-diameter pipe-following rescue drilling rigs and 120T vehicle-mounted drilling rigs, made a stunning debut.

The large-diameter pipe following the rescue drilling rig this time is a scientific research achievement of the national key research and development plan, and the National Emergency Rescue Center is leading the project. It is mainly used for emergency rescue in cases where personnel are trapped after tunnel or mine closures due to collapses. The equipment adopts a modular design, with the maximum size of a single module not exceeding 10 cubic meters. Based on the multi-stage pipe-following drilling process of a dual-power head, it is equipped with various cutter heads. On-site industrial tests and integrated engineering drills have been carried out. The maximum rescue drilling depth reaches 61.5m, and the diameter of the rescue passage is 570mm. The drilling rig has strong functionality and process adaptability.

At the exhibition, many industry leaders and customers visited CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute's booth. Through hands-on demonstrations, analysis of technical principles, and practical examples, they gained a deep understanding of the equipment's operational parameters, its adaptability across multiple scenarios, and its effectiveness in emergency rescue.
