The Joint Drilling Innovation Workshop Co-established by CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute And Huaibei Mining Group Has Officially Gone into Operation

Recently, the Joint Drilling Innovation Workshop, jointly built by CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute and Huaibei Mining Group, was completed and officially put into operation at Huaibei Mining Group.

CCTEG Xi'an Research Institute and Huaibei Mining Group jointly administer the Joint Drilling Innovation Workshop. Its work centers on three key fields: optimization and upgrading of conventional drilling equipment, R&D of new equipment and technologies, and cultivation of high-level interdisciplinary talents suited to the complex geological conditions in the Huaibei Mining Area.

Four special working groups are set up under the workshop, covering drilling equipment, intelligent control, drilling technology, and equipment support. A sound management system featuring regular consultation, achievement sharing, and annual assessment has been established. Both sides jointly launched the Intelligent Drilling Engineer Training Program to foster competent professionals via technical training, staff exchange, and on-site technical guidance.
