Geotechnical engineering geological survey project
1. Introduction
The industrial demonstration project for 1.2 Million t/a rapid pyrolysis of low-rank pulverized coal of Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry North Mining Company is the first demonstration project of single-series million-ton industrial pulverized coal pyrolysis equipment in China. This project is located in the southeast border of the transition zone between the Mu Us Desert and the Loess Plateau in northwest China, with deep sand cover, low groundwater level and collapsibility of loess in depth.
2. Treatment solution
Engineering geological investigation, field drilling, in-situ test, laboratory routine geotechnical test and some special tests of soil were adopted to conduct comprehensive investigation, find out the engineering geology of the site geotechnical layer within the building scope, analyze and assess the stability, uniformity and bearing capacity of the site foundation, and put forward a reasonable foundation treatment scheme.
3. Construction situation
This project is located on the north side of Mahuangliang Industrial Park in Yulin City. The main site of the production area is about 1.2km long from the east to the west and about 1.0km wide from the south to the north. The site covers an area of about 1,200,006 m2. In this geotechnical engineering investigation, 643 boreholes weree drilled, with a total drilling footage of 10636.6m and an exploratory footage of 1003.4m. There were 1413 in-situ standard penetration tests and 2787 geotechnical tests.
4. Achieved accomplishment
Through the site engineering geological investigation and site geotechnical engineering evaluation, the physical and mechanical properties of site foundation soil were found out, and the stability and suitability of building site were analyzed and assessed, which provided the calculation basis for site geotechnical engineering design and anti-earthquake design of buildings, and puts forward foundation treatment scheme.
